Issued 9:30 PM PST 23 February 2017 Tonight and Friday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight building high located west of Bowie.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight deepening trough located over the
Mainland Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Friday low 1017 mb located west of Tofino.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Friday low 1015 mb located south of Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:21 PM PST 23 February 2017 An area of high pressure is slowly build west of the offshore
Waters. A trough of low pressure has developed along the mainland
coast and will deepen overnight with a low pressure center forming
west of Tofino by early Friday morning. The low will drift southwards
during the day on Friday.

A short period of strong to gale force outflow winds will occur along
the North Coast tonight and the Central Coast Friday morning. Strong
to gale force northerly winds will also occur over the offshore and
central waters overnight and Friday.
