north-south over northern Vancouver Island.

At 8:00 a.m. PDT today frontal system located over western Bowie.
By 8:00 p.m. PDT tonight weakening frontal system located on a
line northeast-southwest over northwestern Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:51 AM PDT 30 April 2016 A ridge of high pressure over Queen Charlotte Sound will move
To Northern Vancouver Island this morning. Strong northwesterlies
over southern waters east of the ridge will ease to moderate.

A front approaching offshore waters this morning will stall near
Haida Gwaii this afternoon. Gale force southeasterly winds
To 45 knots over northern waters ahead of the front will
