At 4:00 p.m. PDT today building ridge located from Explorer to
Queen Charlotte Sound.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 AM PDT 22 July 2017 A north-south frontal system over Cape Scott this morning will move
over the mainland coast later this morning. Southeast gales ahead of
the front will shift to moderate to strong southwest in the wake of
the front.

A ridge of high pressure will build over Queen Charlotte Sound
Saturday night.
