North Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Monday ridge located over Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Monday ridge located over BC interior.

At 4:00 p.m. PST Monday deepening low located off Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:27 PM PST 21 December 2014 A trough of low pressure off the North Coast this evening will
Weaken near midnight. Strong to local gale force southwest winds near
the trough will veer to strong westerlies behind the trough.

A ridge of high pressure will bring light winds to southern waters on
Monday, while an approaching low will give gale to storm force winds
to the offshore waters by afternoon. These winds will spread to most
central and northern waters Monday evening as the low tracks
northeastward to approach Haida Gwaii on Tuesday.
