Issued 10:30 AM PDT 7 October 2015 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today deepening low 981 mb located at 51N 149W.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Thursday departing low 971 mb located over the
northwestern Gulf of Alaska.

At 11:00 p.m. PDT Thursday approaching low 980 mb located off

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:29 AM PDT 7 October 2015 Increasingly stormy conditions will prevail over the next few days as
a series of lows and frontal systems affect the BC coast. Each
successive system will be more intense, with the most intense storm
being forecast for Friday.

Strong to gale force southeasterlies will prevail over most of the
central and northern waters today and tonight. Winds will increase
and approach storm force from Northern Vancouver Island northwards on
Thursday morning, with a storm warning currently in effect for Hecate
Strait. Winds will remain moderate to strong over the far south.

After a brief lull later Thursday, a deep 960 millibar low
incorporating the remnants of hurricane oho will move northward
through Bowie on Friday morning, bringing widespread storm force
winds, from Northern Vancouver Island northwards.
