Issued 4:00 AM PDT 28 April 2015 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today low 978 mb located off Langara.
By 8:00 a.m. PDT today departing low 978 mb located over the
southern Alaska panhandle.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today cold front located from Prince Rupert
to Tofino.
By noon PDT today departing cold front located over the Lower
Mainland.

At 11:00 a.m. PDT today building ridge located on a line north-south
over Vancouver Island.
By 11:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday departing ridge located over the
Lower Mainland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:01 AM PDT 28 April 2015 An intense 978 millibar low just off Langara this morning will move
rapidly up the Alaska Panhandle today. A cold front extending
southward from the low centre will sweep through the coast this
morning.
Storm to hurricane force southeasterlies ahead of the low will shift
rapidly to gale to storm force southwest in its wake this morning
with local hurricane force winds over parts Queen Charlotte Sound.
Winds will remain mostly moderate to strong over the far south with
local southeast gales expected over Georgia Strait this morning.
