Issued 4:00 PM PDT 27 March 2015 Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over Cape Scott.
By 11:00 p.m. PDT tonight departing cold front located over the
Lower Mainland.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today building ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Bowie.
By 8:00 a.m. PDT Saturday ridge located on a line north-south over
Vancouver Island.

At 11:00 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located off Bowie.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Saturday frontal system located on a line
north-south over Queen Charlotte Sound.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:36 PM PDT 27 March 2015 A cold front near Cape Scott will move southeastward to the Lower
Mainland tonight. In its wake a ridge of high pressure will build
towards Haida Gwaii this afternoon and will move through the South
Coast Saturday afternoon. The next frontal system will reach the
offshore waters tonight and the North Coast on Saturday.

Strong southeast winds over central waters will shift to strong
northwest later today over most of the southern waters as the cold
front passes. Winds will ease near the ridge then rise to gale to
storm force southeast over most northern and central waters, in
advance of the next frontal system tonight and Saturday morning.
