Issued 4:00 AM PST 25 February 2017 Today Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 a.m. PST today quasi-stationary high 1044 mb located at
50N 155W.

At 4:00 a.m. PST today deepening low 1018 mb located off the
Alaska panhandle.
By 7:00 a.m. PST Sunday departing low 1002 mb located off the
Washington Coast.

At 10:00 p.m. PST tonight building ridge located over northern
BC interior.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:58 AM PST 25 February 2017 A 1045 millibar high will remain well outside the offshore waters. A
low pressure centre will develop near the Alaska Panhandle this
morning. The low will deepen as it moves southeastward along the
coast today, deepening to about 1008 millibars as it reaches Cape
Scott evening and to 1002 millibars by Sunday morning as it moves
southward off the Washington coast.

Widespread northerly gales will develop over most northern waters
this morning and will spread to the waters off the west coast of
Vancouver Island tonight. In addition, strong to gale force
Northeast outflow winds will develop through the Northern Mainland
inlets tonight.
