Issued 9:30 AM NST 6 February 2016 Today Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 a.m. NST today ridge located over Quebec.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Sunday dissipating ridge located over Labrador.

At 9:30 a.m. NST today intensifying low 979 mb located near
Fogo Island.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Sunday departing low 952 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:20 AM NST 6 February 2016 An intensifying low pressure system off the Northeast Coast of
Newfoundland is forecast to track northeastward to lie northeast of
the Funk Island Bank this afternoon, then head out to sea tonight.
Gale force northwesterly winds will spread across southeastern waters
today and tonight as the low tracks southeast of the district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
South Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea - southeastern half and East
Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all open waters.
