Issued 4:00 AM NST 27 February 2017 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. NST today intensifying low 964 mb located over the
Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary low 954 mb located north
of Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:49 AM NST 27 February 2017 An intense low pressure system over the Northwest Labrador Sea will
move north of the district today. Gale to storm force southeasterlies
ahead of the system will shift to gale to storm force westerlies in
its wake. Winds will gradually diminish today as the low moves away
and weakens.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast - north of Saglek, Northwest Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
