Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 PM NDT 27 March 2017 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 1018 mb located over the South Labrador
Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight dissipating low located over the South
Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 964 mb located southeast of the
Flemish Cap.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday departing low located east of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:54 PM NDT 27 March 2017 A low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will move southward
and dissipate evening. Meanwhile, an intense low east of the Flemish
Cap will remain nearly stationary tonight. Gale force northwesterlies
will subside over southern coastal waters on Tuesday as the system to
the southeast begins to slowly move east.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast and South Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for South Labrador Sea - western half.
