Over open water moderate at times severe freezing spray ending near midnight.

Temperatures minus 18 to minus 10 rising to minus 4 to zero Wednesday evening.

Issued 4:00 AM NST 27 January 2015 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough located over the South Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NST today departing trough located southeast of the
Marine District.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over Quebec.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Wednesday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:51 AM NST 27 January 2015 A trough of low pressure over southeastern sections of the South
Labrador Sea will track southeastward and out of the marine district
today. Storm force northwesterlies over southern sections of the
South Labrador Sea will diminish to strong to gale force westerlies
by this morning as the trough moves away.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
South Labrador Sea - southern half. Gale warnings are in effect for
all remaining waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all open waters.
