Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday low 991 mb located off Baffin Island.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight trough located from Davis Strait to the
low then to Belle Isle Bank.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday trough from 991 mb low located on a
line northwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:15 PM NDT 23 August 2016 A low pressure system over the southern half of the Northwest
Labrador Sea will move to lie off Baffin Island by Wednesday
afternoon. Strong southeasterlies will increase to gale force over
the East Labrador Sea tonight as the low approaches.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for the
East Labrador Sea.
