Issued 4:00 AM NST 8 December 2016 Today Tonight and Friday At 4:00 a.m. NST today departing low 980 mb located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today low 995 mb located over the East Labrador
Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Friday low 991 mb located over the Northwest
Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over western Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located from Labrador Coast to the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 AM NST 8 December 2016 A low pressure system is expected to develop over the East Labrador
Sea later today and slowly drift into the Northwest Labrador Sea by
Friday afternoon. Gale force northerlies will develop northwest of
the lows track late on Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast and Northwest Labrador Sea - northwestern half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale
and south, North Labrador Coast and the Northwest Labrador Sea -
northwestern half.
