By 4:00 a.m. NDT Saturday departing trough located north of the
Marine District.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight intensifying low 1002 mb located over
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Saturday low 966 mb located over northwestern
Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:29 PM NDT 9 October 2015 A low pressure system will strengthen into an intense fall storm as
it tracks across the Gulf of St. Lawrence on Saturday, then over the
South Labrador Sea Saturday night. Gale force easterlies will develop
across southern waters later on Saturday ahead of the low, then shift
to gale to storm force northwesterlies along southern coastal waters
in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
South Labrador Coast. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except North Labrador Coast, North Labrador Sea, and East
Labrador Sea - northern half.
