Issued 4:00 PM NST 6 December 2016 Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary low 959 mb located northeast
of Belle Isle Bank.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary ridge located over Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:45 PM NST 6 December 2016 An intense low pressure system northeast of Belle Isle Bank will
remain nearly stationary tonight then slowly move eastward on
Wednesday. Gale force northwesterlies over all waters except Lake
Melville are expected to slowly diminish Wednesday night.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, the Labrador coast and the Northwest
Labrador Sea - northwestern half.
