Issued 9:30 AM NST 18 November 2017 Today Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 a.m. NST today departing trough located northwest of the
Marine District.

At 9:30 a.m. NST today low 992 mb located over the Grand Banks.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Sunday low located southeast of Funk Island Bank.

By 9:30 a.m. NST Sunday trough from low located on a line east-west
over Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:17 AM NST 18 November 2017 A trough of low pressure northwest of the marine district will
continue westwards today. Strong to gale force northeasterly winds
over northern waters in the wake of this feature will diminish
tonight as the trough moves away.

Meanwhile, a complex area of low pressure will approach the marine
district from the southeast today. This system will spread gale force
northeasterlies across southeastern waters this afternoon and
evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, Northwest Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea - southern half.
