Issued 4:00 AM NDT 20 October 2017 Today Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today departing ridge located on a line north-south
over the East Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 991 mb located over the Mid
Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Saturday low 980 mb located over southeastern
Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT Saturday approaching ridge located over Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:56 AM NDT 20 October 2017 A low pressure system over the Mid Labrador Coast will deepen as it
crosses the South Labrador Sea today. Strong southeasterlies ahead of
the low will shift to gale to storm force north to northwesterlies in
its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast and Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and south.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except Lake
Melville and North Labrador Coast - north of Saglek.
