By 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday departing low located 100 miles northwest
of Prince Rupert.

At 8:00 a.m. PDT Saturday building ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Mainland Coast.
By 8:00 p.m. PDT Saturday dissipating ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Mainland Coast.

At 11:00 p.m. PDT Saturday approaching frontal system located near
the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:21 PM PDT 24 March 2017 A low pressure system over Northern Haida Gwaii will continue to
Move slowly northward to lie over the Southern Alaskan Panhandle by
early Saturday morning.

Northwesterly gale force winds over offshore waters will subside to
strong westerlies tonight. Gale force northwesterly over northern
And central waters will ease below gales early Saturday morning.
