Issued 10:30 AM PDT 26 May 2016 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today ridge located west of the offshore waters.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Friday weakening ridge located on a line
north-south over Explorer.

At 5:00 p.m. PDT Friday approaching trough located west of the
offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:28 AM PDT 26 May 2016 A ridge of high pressure west of the offshore waters will remain
quasi-stationary today through Friday.

Moderate to strong northwesterlies or westerlies will prevail over
most marine waters today through Friday. Winds through Johnstone and
Juan de Fuca straits, and off the west coast of Vancouver Island will
rise to gale force this afternoon. Winds will ease on Friday as the
ridge of high pressure weakens.
