Marine Weather StatementIssued 10:19 AM PDT 23 October 2017 A deepening low over Bowie will move northeastward to reach the
Alaska Panhandle late this afternoon. Ahead of the low, gale to storm
force southerlies will continue over northern and central waters
today then shift to strong to gale force westerlies in its wake
tonight. The associated front will remain over Southern Hecate Strait
tonight with southerly gales persisting over the central waters.
On Tuesday, another low pressure system will move to lie over Bowie
in the afternoon. Southerly gales will redevelop over the northern
waters ahead of the low.
