northeast-southwest over the Central Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Hecate Strait.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today deepening low 1008 mb located off Bowie.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT today low 1002 mb located over Langara.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday building ridge located west of the
offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:58 AM PDT 24 October 2017 A frontal system stalled over the Central Coast will continue to give
southeast gales to the central waters through this evening.

Meanwhile, a deepening low pressure system well offshore will move
across Bowie this afternoon. Southwesterly gales will develop over
the northern waters ahead of the low. Winds will shift to strong to
gale force northwesterlies in the wake of the low this evening.
