northeast-southwest over Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Sunday weakening ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Vancouver Island.

At 5:00 p.m. PDT Sunday approaching trough located over northwestern
Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:32 AM PDT 23 September 2017 A quasi-stationary ridge of high pressure over Queen Charlotte Sound
will weaken today through Sunday. A trough of low pressure will
approach Northwestern Explorer on Sunday afternoon spreading strong
to gale force southwesterly winds into the region.
