Issued 3:57 AM PDT 21 October 2016 A 990 millibar low pressure centre over Northwestern Bowie this
morning will move northward towards the Alaskan Panhandle today.
The low will bring strong to gale force southerlies over most
northern waters this morning. Southwest gales will veer to westerly
gales today over the northern offshore waters as the low moves by to
the north. Winds will ease to moderate to strong tonight.

Southeast gales will develop off the west coast of Vancouver Island
Saturday afternoon as a developing low approaches Explorer from the
