Issued 4:00 PM PDT 24 March 2017 Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today low located over Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday departing low located 100 miles northwest
of Prince Rupert.

At 8:00 a.m. PDT Saturday building ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Mainland Coast.
By 8:00 p.m. PDT Saturday dissipating ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Mainland Coast.

At 11:00 p.m. PDT Saturday approaching frontal system located near
the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:56 PM PDT 24 March 2017 A low pressure system over Haida Gwaii will move northward to lie
over the Northern Alaskan Panhandle by early Saturday morning.
Northwesterly gale force winds over offshore waters will subside to
strong westerlies tonight. Gale force southerly winds will soon
Shift to gale force northwesterly over northern and central waters
this evening then ease below gales early Saturday morning.
