By 4:00 p.m. PST today quasi-stationary ridge located over Bowie.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today building ridge located over northern
BC interior.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today quasi-stationary ridge located over BC
interior.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:20 AM PST 2 March 2015 A ridge of high pressure just off Bowie will move slowly eastward as
it builds. This ridge will result in strong to marginal gale force
northerly winds over parts of central waters today and this evening.
A weak inverted trough near Tofino serves to protect West Coast
Vancouver Island South from the northerly flow.

Another ridge of high pressure building in the British Columbia
Interior will push strong to marginal gale force outflow winds
through the mainland inlets and valleys today and tonight.
