Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:48 PM PDT 22 October 2017 A deepening low will approach Bowie from the southwest tonight to
reach the Alaska Panhandle as a 991 millibar low Monday afternoon.
Ahead of the low, winds will rise to southerly gales offshore
overnight, and to storm force southerlies Monday morning over the
northern and central waters. Winds will shift to gale force
westerlies in the wake of the low then ease to strong Monday
Evening. The associated front will remain over the central
Waters Monday night with southerly gales persisting.
