Wind south 15 to 25 knots increasing to northwest 25 to 35 this evening then becoming west 25 near midnight. Wind backing to south 25 late overnight then increasing to southeast 45 to 55 early Wednesday morning. Wind diminishing to southwest 25 to 35 Wednesday evening.

Periods of rain ending this evening. Rain beginning early Wednesday morning.

Issued 4:00 PM PST 1 December 2015 Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located on a line north-south
over Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 8:00 p.m. PST tonight weakening frontal system located on a
line north-south over Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today low 993 mb located west of the offshore
By midnight PST tonight low 991 mb located over northern Hecate

At 4:00 a.m. PST Wednesday intensifying frontal system located
west of the offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Wednesday frontal system located on a line
north-south over Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:53 PM PST 1 December 2015 A series of weather systems will move across BC waters during
The next two days. A north to south aligned frontal system over
Queen Charlotte Sound this afternoon will slide down southward to
Vancouver Island later this afternoon. A 993 MB low approaching the
offshore waters later this afternoon will track northeastward to
Northern Hecate Strait near midnight tonight. Another strong frontal
system will approach the offshore waters Wednesday morning. The
system will move eastward to lie over Haida Gwaii Wednesday

Associated with these systems, gale to storm force southerly winds
will prevail over most BC waters today through Wednesday.
