Issued 9:30 PM PDT 26 July 2016 Tonight and Wednesday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight building ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday quasi-stationary ridge located on a
line northeast-southwest over the Central Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:18 PM PDT 26 July 2016 A nearly stationary ridge of high pressure offshore will slowly build
onto the Central Coast tonight and Wednesday. Under this pattern,
strong to gale force northwesterly winds will prevail over most
southern waters.

Strong to gale force northwesterlies off West Vancouver Island and
through Johnstone Strait will ease slightly overnight then strengthen
again Wednesday afternoon. Westerly winds through Juan de Fuca Strait
will flirt with gales in the evenings.
