Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:53 AM PDT 6 October 2015 A 997 MB low pressure system over Eastern Pacific will deepen and
expand during the next few days. The system will start to affect
BC waters on Wednesday. A series of disturbances rotating around the
big low will bring gale force southeasterly winds to most BC waters
Wednesday and Wednesday night.
The system is expected to remain over Eastern Pacific during the
week. A series of intense disturbances will develop and rotate around
the system. Gale to storm force southerly winds will continue
Through Sunday as these disturbances move across BC waters.
