Issued 9:30 PM PDT 20 October 2017 Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight departing ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the South Coast.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight deepening low 980 mb located west of Bowie.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Sunday weakening low 990 mb located over the
Alaska panhandle.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight cold front from low located over the
offshore waters.
By 2:00 p.m. PDT Saturday departing cold front from low located
on a line northwest-southeast over the Mainland Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:44 PM PDT 20 October 2017 An approaching cold front will track across the offshore waters
tonight and reach the coastal waters by Saturday morning. The front
will move inland late in the afternoon on Saturday. Ahead of the
front, southeast gales will develop over the offshore waters this
evening then spread to all outer waters overnight and the inner
South Coast early Saturday morning. Behind the front, the winds will
shift to strong to gale force southwesterly.
