Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM PDT 22 October 2017 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight building ridge located over the South
Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Monday deepening low 994 mb located southwest
of Bowie.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Monday low 991 mb located over the Alaska
panhandle.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:24 PM PDT 22 October 2017 A deepening low will approach Bowie from the southwest tonight to
reach the Alaska Panhandle as a 991 millibar low Monday afternoon.
Ahead of the low, winds will rise to southerly gales offshore
overnight, and to storm force southerlies Monday morning over the
northern and central waters. Winds will shift to gale force
westerlies in the wake of the low then ease to strong Monday
Evening. The associated front will remain over the central
Waters Monday night with southerly gales persisting.
