At 4:00 p.m. PDT today quasi-stationary trough located over BC
interior.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:59 PM PDT 27 May 2015 A ridge of high pressure just outside the offshore waters, combined
with a trough of low pressure over the BC Interior, will continue to
bring moderate to strong northwest winds to most regions over the
next few days. Winds will reach gale force at times near Southern
Haida Gwaii, through Johnstone Strait and off the Brooks Peninsula on
the west coast of Vancouver Island.
