Issued 4:00 AM PDT 9 October 2015 Today Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today deepening low 968 mb located over
northwestern Bowie.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT today departing low 960 mb located off the Alaska

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today intensifying cold front located off Explorer.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT today departing cold front located over the
Coast Mountains.

At 11:00 a.m. PDT today low 976 mb located over southern Bowie.
By 8:00 p.m. PDT tonight departing low 980 mb located over the
southern Alaska panhandle.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:59 AM PDT 9 October 2015 Stormy conditions will prevail over the next few days as a series of
lows and frontal systems affect the BC coast. An intense area of low
pressure incorporating the remnants of hurricane oho will deepen to
960 millibars today as it moves northward off Haida Gwaii. A second
low centre will track northeastward across Haida Gwaii this

Storm to hurricane force winds will prevail this morning over most
areas from Northern Vancouver Island northwards. This will lead to
very high seas reaching up to 9 metres for parts of the North Coast.
Winds will veer to gale to storm force southerly over most central
and northern waters as the second low approaches this afternoon.

A third low centre will bring gale force winds to the central part of
the coast Friday night and Saturday.
