Issued 10:30 AM PST 20 December 2014 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:30 a.m. PST today frontal system located on a line
northwest-southeast over Vancouver Island.
By 1:00 p.m. PST today departing frontal system located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Mainland Coast.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today trough located over Explorer.
By 10:00 p.m. PST tonight trough located over southern Vancouver
Island.

At 1:00 p.m. PST Sunday approaching trough located over the
offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:23 AM PST 20 December 2014 An onshore flow will push a series of rapidly moving disturbances
across the coast over the next couple of days. In the wake of a front
that will move over the coast late this morning a trough of low
pressure will push through the South Coast this evening. Another
trough of low pressure will reach the offshore waters on Sunday
afternoon.

Widespread gale force southeasterlies ahead of the front will ease to
moderate to strong southerlies in most areas behind the front. Winds
will rise to strong to gale force southwesterly over outer southern
waters ahead of the trough this afternoon.
In the north moderate to strong southwest winds behind the front will
rise to strong to gale force southwest on Sunday afternoon ahead of
second trough of low pressure.
