northeast-southwest over Cape Scott.
At 5:00 p.m. PDT Saturday approaching frontal system located over
the northern offshore waters.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:23 PM PDT 18 August 2017 A ridge of high pressure in a northeast to southwest line will stall
over Cape Scott through late Saturday. Moderate to strong northwest
winds will prevail for most of the South Coast except gale force
westerlies through Juan de Fuca Strait tonight.
North of the ridge, moderate to strong westerly winds will prevail.
