Issued 9:30 PM PDT 27 July 2017 Tonight and Friday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located from the
Central Coast to Explorer.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday approaching low located off Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:23 PM PDT 27 July 2017 A ridge of high pressure over Queen Charlotte Sound will remain
stationary on a line from the Central Coast to Southern Explorer
tonight and Friday. Ahead of the ridge, strong westerlies through
Juan de Fuca Strait and Johnstone Strait will ease overnight.

An approaching low will lie off Bowie by late Friday afternoon.
Ahead of the low, gale force southeasterlies will develop over the
offshore waters Friday afternoon.
