Wind becoming east 30 to 40 early Saturday morning except northeast 40 near the mainland inlets. Wind diminishing to northeast 10 to 20 late Saturday morning except northeast 40 near the mainland inlets.
A few flurries changing to rain or periods of snow early Saturday morning then to a few flurries Saturday evening.

temperatures from the Arctic outflow winds will give a risk of
moderate freezing spray near Northern Mainland inlets.
A weakening frontal system over Haida Gwaii is giving gale
Force easterlies to northern and central waters today. A low pressure
centre associated with this system will move over Northern Explorer
by this afternoon with gale force southwesterly
