Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:16 PM PDT 7 July 2015 A ridge of high pressure well offshore will continue to give marginal
gale force northwesterlies over west coast Haida Gwaii this evening.
These winds will spread to Southern Hecate Strait and Queen Charlotte
Sound overnight and Wednesday morning as the ridge shifts westward.

Strong northwesterly winds have developed through Johnstone Strait.
Winds will rise to gale force later this evening and diminish
