At 4:00 p.m. PDT today low 1012 mb located over Haida Gwaii.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Saturday low 1010 mb located over southern
Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:53 PM PDT 30 September 2016 A ridge of high pressure west of offshore waters combined with a low
pressure system over Haida Gwaii has developed northerly gales across
Bowie. These winds will gradually ease to strong northeast winds
tonight as the low moves southwards.
