BC interior.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight weakening low 974 mb located off Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Monday departing low 1000 mb located off Oregon
Coast.

At 4:00 p.m. PST Monday approaching ridge located over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:30 PM PST 22 January 2017 An intense area of low pressure centred just off the southwestern
corner of Explorer this evening is producing gale force southeast
winds off the west coast of Vancouver Island and over Explorer
This evening. Winds will gradually ease tonight as the low fills
And moves southward towards the California coast on Monday.
Meanwhile an Arctic ridge of high pressure will remain stationary
over the Northern BC Interior and will weaken through tonight
And Monday. Strong to gale force northerly outflow winds through
The Northern Mainland inlets will gradually ease.
