Issued 10:30 AM PDT 20 October 2017 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today ridge located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing ridge located on a line north-south
over the Coast Mountains.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located off the offshore
waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Saturday weakening frontal system located on a
line north-south over the North Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:09 AM PDT 20 October 2017 An approaching frontal system will track across Haida Gwaii on
Saturday and weaken over the North Coast late in the afternoon.
Ahead of the front, southeast gales will develop over the offshore
waters this evening then spread to all outer waters overnight and the
inner South Coast early Saturday morning. In its wake the winds will
shift to strong to gale force southwesterly late Saturday.
