Hourly Forecast - Campbellton

RAINFALL WARNING

Rain, heavy at times is expected. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall. Total rainfall: 25 to 45 mm by late Friday, with additional amounts possible early Saturday morning in the northeast. Locations: most of northern New Brunswick. Time span: today through late Friday or Saturday morning. Remarks: A changeover to snow is expected for northwestern New Brunswick Friday evening, but this changeover may be delayed until Saturday morning for some parts of the northeast, leading to additional rainfall accumulation in those areas. Mild temperatures will accompany the rain causing rapid snowmelt and significant run-off. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Don't approach washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to NBstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports using #NBStorm.
